And a new book….
‘Folk Tales of Rock and Stone’ has just been published by The History Press. It is a collection of rewritten stories from around the world as well as a few new stories created by Jenny. The stories centre on the various forms that are taken by rock and stone…the magical adder stones, statues, pottery, stones you spin across water, salt, pebbles, stone that is made into buildings, flint tools and ammonites…. The book is designed for family reading and it aims to entertain with good quality stories, but also to share Jenny’s enthusiasm for these objects that we so easily take for granted. Think…stones and rocks have been here since the beginning of time and will be here long into the future. They have many stories to tell!
